For 6 credit elective courses, the maximum mark is 75. So, students need to get at least 27 out of 75 for passing the theory exam. 

IGNOU Passing Marks for Master Degree Programmes

The students need to obtain at least 40 marks out of 100 for a specific course seeking after Master Degree programs from Indira Gandhi National Open University, for example, M.Com, MCA, MBA, MA, MEG, MEC, MAPC, MCom, and so on. They need 40% marks in assignments for completion of the course.

IGNOU passing marks in Projects 

For project submission, students need to attain a minimum of 50% marks for the completion. Or else they need to resubmit it.
