Students of Indira Gandhi National Open University can fill up IGNOU revaluation form online for December 2023. Earlier, the students have to apply for revaluation via offline mode. But, now the students have access to IGNOU online revaluation form at university official website. Recently, the university has announced December 2023 term end examination result. The IGNOU result has been declared but there are many students who are not satisfied with their results. Many has been got failed in few of their courses or some of the students have got less marks.

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) announces the guidelines for re-evaluation of the papers. Students are informed that the re-evaluation service, which is re-evaluation form, and the supply of photocopies of answer sheets by the university are now online. Now the process of re-evaluation for the students is easier. Hence, they are advised to fill the re-evaluation form and related fees online through credit card, debit card, or net banking.

*Online re-evaluation services are subjected only to Indian students; these guidelines are not applicable for international students of the university.

Students of the university who are looking forward to a re-evaluation of their answer sheets are expected to follow the guidelines stated by the university. The following article will give you a complete idea of what is expected when you want your answer sheets re-evaluated.

Rules and Regulations for IGNOU Revaluation of Answer Script

A candidate should be aware of the below rules and regulations related to a re-evaluation of the answer sheets.

  • The student should request a re-evaluation within one of the results announced on the official website of the university. After that, the re-evaluation request will not be considered in any case.
  • After re-evaluation, the better of the two marks will be considered the final marks.
  • The student should check the re-evaluated mark sheet on the official website of the university.
  • The time required for re-evaluation of the answer sheet is a minimum of 30 days from the date of application.
  • The re-evaluation process is issued for theory-based term-end examinations only. They will not be applicable for practical examination, Project workshops, Laboratory courses, Viva, etc.

What are the rules for obtaining a photocopy of the answer sheet for re-evaluation?

  • Fees for obtaining a photocopy of the answer sheet per course is Rs. 100/-
  • Applications for photocopies of answer sheets will be accepted by the university within 45 days of results updates on the official website of the university.
  • After obtaining a photocopy of the answer sheets, the student should claim the change in marks within 15 days. After that, the university will not accept the application.
  • Your applications for an increase in marks or re-evaluation will be entertained in the following two cases:
  • a) Totaling errors
  • b) If you find any part of your answer sheet has remained unevaluated,.
  • The application for obtaining a photocopy of the answer sheet will be entertained if and only if the student uploads a photocopy of his admit card.

You can contact the university with a phone call or raise a request with an e-mail in the following conditions;

  • If you do not receive a photocopy of the answer sheet within one month
  • If you do not find the result on the official website of the university.

  • If you find excess deduction in your fees related to photocopy or re-evaluation of marks, you can call Shri. Anil Kumar, Assistant Registrar (OTC). The contact number is 011-29571325.   • If you come across any technical issues while paying fees or any other online process you can contact Shri Gulshan Kumar Arora, Deputy Director of software at 011-29572207. You can also raise the query through e-mail at [email protected]
  • International students are supposed to fill their re-evaluation form in offline mode. They can courier their hard copy to the Deputy registrar regional evaluation center, Block no. 5 IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi 110068. They can pay the fees through demand draft for the prescribed fees.

All students are advised to give a re-evaluation application under the above-stated guidelines only. University in any case will not accept any application if, any of the rules and regulations are not followed. To avoid any confusion regarding results, and re-evaluation application form, answer sheet photocopy, and re-evaluation results, keep checking the official website of the university only.
