IGNOU Practical Date Sheet December 2025

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is set to release the Practical Date Sheet for December 2025. Usually, practical examinations are conducted after the term-end theory exams. The notification for the practical date sheet will be published on the official IGNOU website www.ignou.ac.in once it is available.

Practical exams are conducted for select distance programmes, including:

• Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA)
• Master of Computer Applications (MCA)
• Certificate in Information Technology (CIT)
• M.Sc. (Mathematics with Applications in Computer Science) (MACS)
• Post Graduate Diploma in Applied Statistics (PGDAST)

IGNOU provides the practical exam schedule on its official website, and students can download it for planning their lab sessions and preparations.

Eligibility Criteria for Practical Exams

• M.Sc. (MACS): Students must have completed 70% of practical exercises of a course, certified by the respective Course Counsellor in courses like MMT-001P, MMT-007P, MMT-008P, MMTE-001P, MMTE-003P, MMTE-004P, MMTE-005P, MMTE-006P, and MMTE-007P.
• BCA and MCA: Students must have 70% attendance in MCSL-016, 017, 025, 036, 045, and 054, and 75% attendance in the rest of the lab courses.
• Certificate in Information Technology (CIT): Students must have attended at least 12 out of 18 practical counselling sessions in CITL-001 to be eligible.

Important Note: Eligible students are requested to contact their Regional Director for information related to batch timing and other practical exam details.
